(a) whether any guidelines have been issued by the Government for grant of funds under the Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Programme (AIBP);
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether there are any discrepancies in allocating/sanctioning funds to different State Governments;
(d) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor; and
(e) the action taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) & (b) Yes, Madam. Guidelines of Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Programme (AIBP) have been issued by Government of India and have been modified from time to time. The modified Guidelines of 2006 of the AIBP Programme are presently in force.
(c) & (e) No, Madam. The Central Assistance under AIBP is released to the States as per their requests, eligibility criteria and budgetary provisions in State budget of the proposals submitted by them.
