(a) & (b) The Union Government is providing Central Loan
Assistance (CLA) under Accelerated Irrigation Benefits
Programme (AIBP) for expeditious completion of approved major
and medium ongoing irrigation projects which are in advanced
stage of construction. Barnar Reservoir Scheme is an approved
project with latest estimated cost of Rs. 308.00 crore. The
Scheme can be considered for CLA/grant under AIBP during 2005-
06 as per the revised guidelines of the programme on receipt
of the proposal from the State Government.
