(a) No, Sir. Setting up of a youth hostel is considered on the basis of viable proposals received from the concerned State Gorernments and Union Territories Administrations. No proposals for setting up of youth hostels at Chengalpet and Kanchipuram have been received from the Govt. of Tamil Nadu.
