(a): Yes, the ‘Dr. Ambedkar International Centre’, New Delhi is being established at 15 Janpath at a cost of Rs. 195.74 crore (approximate) on the land measuring 3.25 acres. The Centre will undertake the research work also.
(b): Dr. Ambedkar International Centre would have the following amenities/activities namely Library, Research & Extension Centre, Media-cum-Interpretation Centre & Administrative Wing, Convention Centre, Auditoriums. Construction of the building of the ‘Centre’ has been entrusted to National Building Construction Corporation. Foundation stone of the building for ‘Centre’ has been laid by the Prime Minister on 20th April, 2015.
(c): The time period for the construction is 22 months.
