(a) the details of the provisions made by Government under Khelo India Scheme to build new Infrastructure complexes and Construction of Stadia Complex for Sportspersons in the Lok Sabha constituency of Porbandar in Gujarat; and
(b) whether the Government is setting up Khelo India State Centres of Excellence (KISCE) under Khelo India in the District of Porbandar in the State of Gujarat, if so, the details thereof along with the time by when the same is being set up?

(a) Under the “Utilisation and Creation/Upgradation of Sports Infrastructure” vertical of the Khelo India Scheme, this Ministry has sanctioned five projects in Gujarat. No proposal has been received to construct a sports stadium in the Lok Sabha constituency of Porbandar in Gujarat.
(b) The Khelo India Scheme is a demand-driven scheme under which one of the existing training centres of the State/UT is designated as Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCE) on the basis of proposals received from the respective State/UT Governments. So far, no proposal has been received from the State of Gujarat for setting up of a KISCE in Porbandar district.
