(a) & (b) A statement containing details of assistance given to 28 centres in Rajasthan, year-wise during the period 2000-01 to 2002-03 under the Scheme to Promote Voluntary Action for Persons with Disabilities, Scheme of Assistance to Disabled Persons for Purchase/ Fitting of Aids and Appliances and District Rehabilitation Centre Scheme, is annexed.

(e) The projects run by these centers are inspected periodically by the agencies of the State Govt. and of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Grants for subsequent years are sanctioned only on the basis of satisfactory inspection reports on the functioning and proper utilization of earlier year grants.
