(a) the details of the proposals received by the Government to set up FM Radio Station
in the country during each of the last three years, till date, State and Union-Territory
-wise; and
(b) the details of progress made by the Government for setting up such stations in the
country, State-wise and location-wise, till date?

(a) Proposals for setting up of FM Radio Stations are received from time to time from various
quarters and these are taken into consideration while formulating the plans for expansion of
FM service of All India Radio.
(b) On the basis of such proposals, the Government has approved the setting up / upgradation
of FM Stations at different places by All India Radio. The details are at Annexure.
