STATEMENT REFERRED TO IN PARTS (a) TO (c) OF LOK SABHA STARRED QUESTION NO. 176 DUE FOR REPLY ON 05.12.2005 BY SHRI CHHATAR SINGH DARBAR, M.P. REGARDING WORKING PARTICIPATION IN MANAGEMENT.

(a) to (c): The Participation of Workers in Management Bill, 1990 was introduced in Rajya Sabha on 30.05.1990 which would require some modifications to reflect changes in economic and social parameters since 1990. Accordingly it has been decided to pursue the Bill with some modifications after discussion/consultation with social partners in tripartite for a. In such circumstances, it is not possible to precisely indicate any specific time frame.
