(a), (b) & (c) : Performance of ITDC including its hotels is reviewed regularly and some
of the areas which have been identified and measures taken for controlling/ reducing cost
are as follows :-
(i) Ban on fresh recruitment.
(ii) Reduction in payment of overtime.
(iii) Discontinuation of the provision of uniform to back-office staff.
(iv) Strict control on the use of telephones.
(v) Reducing stock inventory in hotels.
(vi) Exercising strict control on food cost.
(vii) Reducing cost by energy conservation.
(viii) Controlling expenditure on upkeep & service cost.
