(a) the expected cost and completion of the scheme ''One Nation One Card'';

(a) ''One Nation One Card'' is not a scheme but an initiative of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Govt. of India with an objective of creating an affordable open loop interoperable system across various modes of transport including metro, bus, suburban trains, toll and parking, etc. With a view to realize the above objective, Government has taken the initiative for Standardization and Indigenization of the complete ecosystem for the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC), covering the Automated Fare Collection (AFC) System, Access Gate, Mobility Card and Card Reader /Validator. To develop the Specifications and Proof of Concept for One Nation One Card – National Common Mobility Card, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) was assigned a project for developing eco-system for metro gate validation terminal. This was piloted successfully at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

(b) and (c): NCMC card is a regular debit/credit card equipped with an additional wallet functionality. This card can be used for all purposes like transit / para transit, retail and ATMs. This card is being issued by the banks and for obtaining the card, the customer has to fulfill the KYC requirements as needed by Banks.
