(a): The details of major renewable energy schemes/ programmes being implemented by the Ministry in the country including the state of Odisha are given in Annexure-I.

Further, the following information has been provided by Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA), about renewable energy scheme/ programmes being implemented in the state of Odisha:

Solarization of Konark
Under this scheme, 10 MW Grid connected Solar Power Project has been proposed to be installed at land identified in Junagarh block of Kalahandi District. The power generated from the plant at Junagarh will be accounted against the consumption of Konark town so as to make it a Net-Zero emission town. The Letter of Award has already been issued to the selected developer for installation of the project.

Under the Off-grid solar applications component, OREDA has installed 50 nos. of solar powered trees and 40 solar powered drinking water kiosks and 235 KW online rooftop solar power plants. 50 KW solar power plant has already been commissioned for konark temple illumination. Further, Steps have been taken to mobilize 20 electric rikshaws and 2 charging stations.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyaan (PM KUSUM)
Component-A:
• Under this component of PM-KUSUM scheme, Solar or other RE based power plants(REPP) can be set up by farmers/ groups of farmers/ cooperatives/ panchayats/ Farmers producers groups/ water users associations called as Renewable Power Generators (RPG).
• Advertisement for farmers’ interest in leasing the land has been published in news papers. 334 nos. EOIs have been received for approximately 1904 Acres of land.
• In response to the RfS for on-boarding of developers, a total of 7 nos developers/ individual farmers had expressed their interest. Upon scrutiny of their documents and other credentials as per the RfS, 5 developers have been shortlisted for a total capacity of 12.75 MW. The letter of Awards are already issued in favor of 5nos. of Solar developers.

Component-B:
• Under this component of PM-KUSUM scheme, standalone solar pumps from 1 HP to 10 HP capacity can be installed.
• Under PM-KUSUM scheme Component B, district-wise details of Installation of Solar pumps for irrigation purpose are given in Annexure-II.
(b): The State-wise details of renewable energy capacity addition (including large hydro) in the country during the last two years & current year i.e. from 2020-21 to 2022-23 (upto June 2022) are given in Annexure-III.
(c): The details of funds released as Central Financial Assistance (CFA) by the ministry for implementation of various renewable energy schemes/programmes in the State of Odisha during the last two years i.e. 2020-21 and 2021-22 are given below:
