(a) whether the employment under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana (DDU-GKY) has fallen following the onset of COVID;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the reasons for the fall in employment rate; and
(d) the efforts being made by the Government to increase the employment under DDU-GKY?

(a) to (c) Due to surge in COVID-19 and subsequent lockdowns, all economic activities were impacted including training and placement under DDU-GKY. The number of candidates trained and placed under DDUGKY during last three years and the current year are given below:

(d) Under DDU-GKY various awareness campaigns, job fairs and meetings of Chief Executive Officers of Companies/Employers have been undertaken by States and UTs for improvement in placement of trained candidates.
