(a) At present, there are four mints in the country as detailed
below :-
1. India Government Mint, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
2. India Government Mint, Kolkata, West Bengal.
3. India Government Mint, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.
4. India Government Mint, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
(b) & (c) No, Sir.
(d) The existing production capacity in mints is sufficient to
meet the requirement of coins in the country.
