(a)the number of labourers in unorganized sector benefited under ESIC COVID-19 Relief Scheme so far;
(b)the number of districts in which Social Security Code has been implemented in ESIC institutes across the country;
(c)the number of districts where Social Security Code has been implemented in Gujarat; and
(d)the number of labourers benefited under the said scheme in the tribal area of Dahod in Gujarat?

(a): In order to provide help and succour to the families of the Insured Persons (IPs) who died due to COVID-19, the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) launched ESIC COVID-19 Relief Scheme on 03.06.2021. The scheme is effective for a period of two years w.e.f. 24.03.2020. The Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 is applicable on the factories/establishments employing 10 or more workers and unorganized sector workers are not covered. As on 26.11.2021, a total of 9350 family members were provided relief under the scheme.
(b) & (c): All the provisions of the Code on Social Security, 2020 have not come into force.
(d): The Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) Act, 1948 is not implemented in Dahod district of Gujarat.
