MINISTER OF TOURISM AND CULTURE (SHRI JAGMOHAN)

(a), (b) and (c) : Ministry of Tourism has consulted travel trade, hotels and airlines to counter the down-trend following the recent terrorist attacks on United States. Efforts have also been made to send appropriate signals to countries all over the world that India is a safe destination. Re-orientation in promotion efforts is also being done by focussing on less affected markets and reorienting marketing by the trade and industry to the potential of domestic tourism.
