(a) the present status of four laning project on National Highway (NH)-17 (renamed as NH-66) from km 535.500 to km 611.000;
(b) whether the cross drainage requirements of the project have been taken into considerations in view of the problems faced by the people along the above stretch during the monsoon;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the time frame set for the completion of the project?

(a) & (d) The present status along with target date for completion of four/six laning projects from Km 535.50 to Km 611.00 on NH-17 (New NH-66) is annexed.
(b) & (c) Yes, the requirement of cross drainage works involving construction of 23 box/pipe culverts in Canacona bypass project and 84 box/pipe culverts in Margao bypass project have been approved as per site requirement.
