(a) the current status of implementation of Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) in Chhattisgarh;
(b) the district-wise funds allocated, released and utilized under the scheme since inception and till date;
(c) the details of beneficiaries covered under the scheme Rajnandgaon parliamentary constituency, year-wise; and
(d) whether any financial assistance provided under PMMVY during COVID-19 pandemic and if so, the manner in which funds have been transferred under the said scheme?

(a) Under Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY), maternity benefits amounting to Rs.226.93 crores (including Central and State share) have been paid to more than 5.69 lakhs eligible beneficiaries since inception of the scheme and till 25.01.2022 in Chhattisgarh.
(b) & (c) The funds are released to the States/UTs on the basis of indicative targets and utilisation of released funds. Further, the funds under PMMVY are released State/UT-wise. Thus, the Government does not maintain district-wise amount of funds released and utilization under PMMVY. However, District-wise and Year-wise, number of beneficiaries enrolled since inception of the scheme and till 25.01.2022 in respect of Chhattisgarh is annexed. The year-wise details of funds released under PMMVY to the State Government of Chhattisgarh and Utilization reported by the State Government of Chhattisgarh are as under:

(d) Disbursement of maternity benefits of ?5,000/- to the eligible beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) continued even during the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. The eligible beneficiary received cash incentive amounting to ?5,000/- directly to their Bank/Post Office Account linked to her Aadhaar Number in Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode in three installments.
