(a) whether the Government proposes to amend the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection
of Children) Act, 2000 to redefine the juvenile with alternate age;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor;
(c) whether the Supreme Court has also issued directions recently to the Government to
amend the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2000 and Rules;
(d) if so, the details thereof; and
(e) the action taken or proposed to be taken by the Government in this regard?
