(a) to (e) The connectivity from Delhi to Dehradun has been envisaged through Meerut and Muzaffarnagar. The construction of Delhi – Meerut Expressway (Nizamuddin to U.P. Gate) has been completed in June, 2018. The scheduled completion date for U.P. Border – Dasna section and Dasna – Meerut section (greenfield alignment) of Delhi – Meerut Expressway is May, 2020 and December, 2019 respectively. The road stretch from Meerut to Muzaffarnagar has already been constructed to four lane configuration. The work of four laning in Muzaffarnagar – Haridwar section has been terminated because the concessionaire could not achieve project completion due to financial crisis. The bids for balance work on this road stretch have been invited with the due date as 13.08.2019. The scheduled completion period is 18 months after appointed date. The work of four laning in Haridwar - Dehradun section has also been terminated because the concessionaire could not achieve project completion due to financial crisis. The balance work of this stretch has also been awarded in November, 2018 with scheduled completion date as January, 2020.
