(a) Whether the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs)/Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC)/GAIL donate/allocate funds under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the social upliftment of scheduled and backward areas of the country;
(b) If so, the region/head-wise funds allocated for the purpose by various OMCs during the last three years and the current year along with the action taken by the Government against such companies which have not utilized CSR funds as per the laid down norms/criteria, Public Sector company/State/UT-wise including GAIL;
(c) The details of social welfare work done in the country for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and other weaker sections by various OMCs, Public Sector company/State/UT-wise including Maharashtra;
(d) Whether the Government proposes to allow OMCs to spend their CSR funds for health treatment for cancer patients, upliftment of tea garden workers in Assam and other projects taken up/completed in the North Eastern States;
e) If so, the quantum of funds allotted/spent and financial support provided by OMCs to various Non-governmental Organisations and list of projects completed/pending through CSR funds during the said period, State/UT-wise including North Eastern States?
