Question : Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme

(a) the number of entrepreneurs of Self Help Groups provided loans from community development venture funds in compliance of the festival of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav including Maharashtra;

(b) the number of people benefitted from the rural areas of Maharashtra under Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP);

(c) whether the entrepreneurs of the tribal area of Maharashtra have been benefited from the said programme; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) During Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration, a total of 2614 entrepreneurs of Self Help Groups (SHG) from 18 States were provided loans from the Community Enterprise Fund (CEF) under Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP), a sub-scheme under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM), in the week of 6th to 12th September, 2021. However, no enterprise was provided CEF during the week of 6th to 12th September, 2021 in Maharashtra.

(b) to (d) SVEP is being implemented in eight blocks of Maharashtra. So far, a total of 4506 entrepreneurs have been supported. The details are as under:
