(a) whether the Government has decided to take up roads under National Rural
Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) in the SC/ST inhabited areas in each
State of the country including Maharashtra;
(b) if so, the details thereof State-wise; and
(c) the time by which these projects are likely to be completed?

(a): NREG Act is uniformly implemented in all rural areas of the country and is
not area specific with reference to its inhabitation. Rural connectivity to provide
all-weather access is a permissible activity under the Act.
