(a) whether the Government proposes to convert Jhansi-Chhatarpur-Khajuraho National Highway
into four-lane;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether there is any delay in the execution of the said project;
(d) if so, the reasons therefor along with its present status; and
(e) the steps taken by the Government to expedite completion of this project and the time by
which it is likely to be completed?

(a) to (e) Jhansi-Chhatarpur-Khajuraho National Highway was identified to develop to four lane
under NHDP-III. As per the feasibility study the above stretch was not found viable on BOT
basis. However, to keep the road under traffic worthy condition maintenance and improvements
works have been undertaken.
