(a) the number of pensioners who had commuted one-third portion of their pension have not got restoration benefit on expiry of 15 years of their retirement; and
(b) the reasons for not getting restoration benefit on expiry of 15 years of their retirement?

(a)&(b): The Department of Pension is the nodal Department for formulation of pension policy for Central Government employees. Pension payment/disbursement is however completely decentralised. In view of this the Department of Pensions does not maintain centrally, data relating to number of pensioners who had commuted one- third portion of pension and whether they have got the benefit of restoration or not after the expiry of 15 years.
