(a) the status of Jal Jeevan Mission in rural communities across India particularly in Tamilnadu;
(b) the funds allotted under this Mission, State-wise particularly for Tamilnadu; and
(c) the number of rural household in Karur Constituency who had been facilitated under Jal Jeevan Mission?

(a) As reported, as on 14.09.2020, about 28.67% [5.44 Crore] rural households in the country is having tap water connection. In Tamil Nadu, about 21.28% [27.00 lakh] rural households have tap water connection.
(b) The State/ UT–wise Central fund allocation under Jal Jeevan Mission, including that of Tamil Nadu, is annexed.
(c) As reported, as on 14.09.2020, out of 2.13 lakh rural households, about 48 thousand (22.40%) rural households have tap water connection in Karur district of Tamil Nadu.
