(a) whether the Government is running any scheme for the education of differently abled persons in Jharkhand;
(b) if so, the details thereof, scheme and location-wise;
(c) whether proposals received from Jharkhand in this regard are still pending with the Government; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the reaction of the Government thereto?

(a) The Government is implementing Deendayal Disabled Rehabilitation Scheme (DDRS) under which the Central Government has been providing grant in aid to NGOs for providing education to children with disabilities in all States/UTs in the country including the State of Jharkhand.
(b) & (c) The details are at annexure.
(d ) Proposals, complete in all respects, received in a financial year are processed for grant during the year. However, in case of deficiency in documents, if any, the grant is released only after rectification of the deficiency by the concerned NGOs.
