(a) whether the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has prepared a vast network of training institutes/centres for skill development;
(b) if so, the State-wise details thereof;
(c) the State-wise number of persons trained by the NSDC during the last three years and the current year;
(d) whether the Government has sanctioned Rs. 2500 crore for NSDC Board sector and skill council for their skill development proposals; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?
(a) Yes Madam. National Skill Development Corporation(NSDC) has developed a network of skill training with 211 training partners and 3026 training centres across the country. NSDC has till date trained 62.06 lakh persons.
(b) State wise details of training centres of NSDC’s Training Partners is at Annexure-I.
(c) Number of persons trained by NSDC during last 5 years is given at Annexure-II.
(d) & (e) The Government has released Rs. 2358.00 crore to NSDC during 2008-09 to 2014-15 for different projects/schemes as under:

Under Technical Assistance Scheme of the National Skill Development Corporation funds are utilized by NSDC for supporting proposals for setting up training institutes/centres by way of loan, grant and equity, setting up Sector Skill Councils (SSCs), marketing campaign and capacity creation.
