(a) Yes, Sir.
(b) The Ministry of Jal Shakti implements centrally sponsored schemes pertaining to Jal Shakti sector in Jammu and Kashmir under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY), Flood Management and Boarder Areas Programme (FMBAP), National River Conservation Plan (NRCP), National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP) and Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin). Under the PMKSY umbrella, irrigation programme, command area development and water management and irrigation census schemes are under implementation. In irrigation programme, four projects of Jammu and Kashmir, namely, Rajpora Lift Irrigation, Restoration and Modernisation of Main Ravi Canal, Tral Lift Irrigation and Prakachik Khows Canal are included in the prioritized Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Programme (AIBP). Under the Command Area Development and Water Management (CADWM), three projects namely, Rajpora Lift Irrigation, Tral Lift Irrigation and Prakachik Khows Canal are under implementation. The Irrigation Census scheme under implementation in 33 States/Union Territories is also implemented in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
Under the Flood Management and Boarder Areas Programme (FMBAP), 25 projects are under implementation in Jammu and Kashmir. The list of these 25 ongoing projects is Annexed. Under the National River Conservation Plan (NRCP), a scheme for Pollution abatement of Devika and Tawi Rivers at Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir are taken up and ongoing. The Ministry is also implementing National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP) and Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
