(a) :- There are 11 International Airports operational in
the country maintained by Airports Authority of India, for
which the details of income and expenditure for the last
three years are enclosed at Annexure. The international
airport at Cochin is operated by C.I.A.L.
(b) & (c) :- Yes, Sir. Government of India has accorded `in
principle` approval for construction of greenfield airports
with private sector participation at Bangalore, Hyderabad
and Goa. The respective State Governments are finalising
selection of joint venture private sector partner for
implementing these projects. In view of the above, no
definite time frame can be indicated, at present, for
completion of these projects.
(d) & (e) :- At present there is no plan to construct an
international airport at Noida.
