(a) to (b) The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region under its Plan Scheme called Capacity Building and Technical Assistance (CB&TA) has been sanctioning projects to various organizations under Central /State Governments for training of unemployed youth from North Eastern Region and the organizations, after appropriate training, place these youth in various micro, small and medium enterprises / industries. Apart from the above, North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd., (NEDFi) which is under this Ministry is mandated to catalyze industrial growth and nurture entrepreneurship in North Eastern Region by extending financial services with the objective of overall industrial development of NER, more particularly of MSME and micro finance sectors.
