Question : Revenue Earning by Toll Plazas

(a) the number of toll plazas functioning in the country, State/UT-wise including Gujarat;

(b) the details of the revenue earned by these toll plazas during the last three years and the current- year, State/UT-wise including Gujarat;

(c) whether the Union Government has received a proposal from the Government of Gujarat for shifting the toll plaza located at Mandal under district Tapi to 25-30 km away from its present location;

(d) if so, the details and the present status thereof; and

(e) the time by which it is likely to be shifted along with the steps taken/being taken by the Union Government in this regard?

(a) As on 30.06.2019, the State/UT-wise details of the number of fee plazas operational on National Highways in the country are at Annexure-A.

(b) The State-wise details of the revenue earned by Government from fee plazas during the last three years and the current year are at Annexure-B.

(c) to (e) Reference has been received in National Highways Authority of India from the Hon’ble MP, Shri Parbhubhai Vasava as also the Hon’ble Minister, Tribal Development, Forest, Women and Child Welfare, Government of Gujarat, Shri Ganpatbhai Vasava to shift the toll plaza which is under examination with National Highways Authority of India.
