The website of Airport Authority of India had shown the Jhansi Airport as non operational till January, 2007. The DPR Consultant M/s Trans-Asia Philippines Inc. had consulted the concerned agencies while preparing the feasibility study and during such consultation the issue of any kind of restriction had not been raised by any agency including the Defence Authorities. The work of flyover has been stopped since 13 Oct., 2006 due to objection by the Defence Authorities.

(c) & (d) S.O. 988 dated 5th January, 1988 prescribes the limits of the area in which no building or structures shall be constructed or erected.

(e) & (f) The matter has already been taken up with Defence Authorities for NOC. However, approval has not yet been received.
