Question : HIGHER PRICE FOR LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS



(a) whether the Union Government is willing to pay higher price than the one agreed in June, 2005 to buy five million tonnes of liquefied natural gas from Iran;

(b) if so, whether final negotiation has been reached between the two countries to settle the pricing issue;

(c) if so, the facts in this regard; and

(d) the extra burden likely to be borne as a result thereof?
