Question : Textile Technology Development Scheme

(a) the aims and objectives of Textile Technology Development Scheme (TTDS) along with the details of its outlay;

(b) whether beneficiaries of PLI eligible for the TTDS and if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the above scheme is going to replace Amended Upgradation Fund Scheme (ATUFS) which ended in March, 2022 and if so, the details thereof; and

(d) whether there is any proposal to extend ATUFS and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) & (b): No such scheme has been approved.

(c) & (d): There is a proposal under consideration to extend Amended Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (ATUFS). Ministry of Textiles is also engaged with stakeholders for formulation of a new scheme for supporting fast development of Textiles and Textiles Machinery Industry.
