After completing Law from Allahabad University, commissioned in Army as Captain and took part in war against Pakistan. Posted in Poonch and Rajori Sector in Kashmir for 3 years continuously. Thereafter, posted for more than one year in Andhra Pradesh as Captain. After several years of service, took voluntary retirement and started practicing Law in Mujaffarnagar (U.P.). Active in Politics since 1974.
