Tribes)—1967]: s. of Maharaj Bir Bikram Manikya Bahadur; b. at Calcutta, December 13. 1933; ed. at Mayo College and Allahabad University; Widower; 2d.; Member, Lions Club International, Tripura Lalit Kala Parishad and various other social organisations in Tripura. Hobbies: Painting , photography and gardening, specially orchids (won a number of prizes in photography and painting and 2nd prize in All India Photographic Exhibition in landscape, 1956). Favourite pastime and recreation: Playing golf, hunting for orchid and various jungle flora, long walks and hiking. Special interests: Sports, driving, meeting people of rural areas, specially tribals and touring places of interest.
