Water and Power Consultancy Services (WAPCOS), India - an ISO 9001 accredited ‘Mini Ratna’ PSU under the aegis of Union Ministry of Water Resources has secured a consultancy assignment for Detailed Design, Engineering Services and Construction Supervision for Purulia Pumped Storage Project, West Bengal. The agreement was singed between West Bengal State Electricity Board and joint venture – Purulia of EPDC, Japan and WAPCOS at Kolkata recently.
WAPCOS share for consultancy assignment is worth of nearly Rs. 16 crores. It is one of the several projects taken up by WAPCOS in India and abroad to provide quality consultancy services for water resources, power and infrastructure projects.
