The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for extension of the tenure of Justice R.J. Kochar Commission of Inquiry by six months. The Commission was set up to inquire into the collapse on August 28, 2003 of Daman Ganga Bridge linking Nani Daman and Moti Daman. The tenure of the Commission expired on 12.03.2005.
