(a) whether the Government proposes to sink the INS Sindhurakshak;

(b) if so, the details thereof along with the reasons therefor;

(c) the total expenditure made on salvage operation for its retrieval; and

(d) the steps taken by the Government to explore possibilities for using it for target practice to avoid huge wastage of public money?

(a) to (d): As INS Sindhurakshak was Beyond Economic Repair (BER), Government of India decommissioned it. The total expenditure made on salvage operation for retrieval of INS Sindhurakshak amounted to Rs.175.07 crores. INS Sindhurakshak was sunk as a target on 25.4.2017.
