(a) the number of unskilled young males and females separately in the country, State-wise including Rajasthan; and
(b) the number of rural young males and females particularly in Rajasthan who have been given jobs in 2017-2018 after being provided skill training?
(a) & (b) Under Skill India Mission, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) is implementing schemes for imparting employable skills to the youth through short term and long term program on pan India basis both in rural and urban areas. The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 2.0 (2016-20) implemented by MSDE provides short term training to the youth across the country including Rajasthan. Out of 184839 trained persons under components of PMKVY viz. Short Term Training, Special projects and Recognition of Prior Learning, 46171 persons have been placed which includes 20735 female and 25436 male during FY 2017-18 in Rajasthan after being provided skill training. No database of unskilled young males and females is maintained separately in the country.
