(a) whether the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) proposes to acquire hydropower plants of private firms;

(b) if so, the details thereof, project-wise along with the total capacity of these hydropower plants along with the funds required for this purpose;

(c) whether the NHPC has assessed the viability of these power projects;

(d) if so, the details thereof; and

(e) the time by which these power projects are likely to be acquired?
