Question : CONSTRUCTION OF DISPENSARY BY CPWD



(a): the date on which the dispensary building in respect of CGHS Dispensary No.78 (Dakshinpuri) was got completed by the CPWD;

(b): the date on which the application for getting completion certificate from the local authority was submitted by the CGHS authorities;

(c): the reasons for inordinate delay in issuing the completion certificate; and

(d): the time by which the building is likely to be handed over to the CGHS?

(a): Central Govt. Health Scheme (CGHS) Dispensary No.78 is in Pushp Vihar, Sector IV and not in Dakshinpuri. The building for the dispensary was completed on 21.9.94. Services were completed on 15.5.96.

(b): The application for getting the certificate from local authorities i.e. Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) was submitted on 3.6.97.

(c): Procedural formalities such as inspection by Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Delhi Urban Arts Commission, Delhi Fire Service etc. have taken time. These have since been completed and pre-requisite formalities are also over.

(d): The building has already been completed in all respects on 15.5.96. All the pre-requisite formalities as desired by MCD have been done. Completion certificate from MCD is awaited. Building will be taken over by the CGHS authorities soon after the issue of completion certificate by MCD.
