(a) whether the Union Government in its Budgetary allocations has increased the funds for Jal Jeevan Mission to Rs.3,323.42 crore for the year 2021-22 for the State of Odisha;
(b) if so, the details thereof along with the projects for which these funds are allocated; and
(c) the funds spent/released from this allocation to the State along with expenditure incurred funds utilised till date, project-wise?

a) to c): Yes, Sir. Under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), Rs. 3,323.42 Crore has been allocated to the State of Odisha in FY 2021-22 to make provision of tap water connections to rural households.
Water is a State subject. Power to plan, design, approve, implement, operate and maintain water supply schemes is vested with States. As such, details of fund allocation for individual projects, are not maintained by this Department. Government of India supplements the efforts of the States by providing technical and financial assistance.
The details of fund allocated, released and reported utilization in Odisha under JJM in 2019-20, 2020-21 & 2021-22 (as on 07.02.2022), is as under:
