Question : Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana

(a) the guidelines laid down for selection of villages under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAGY);

(b) whether there are guidelines to reselect only those villages which have been selected earlier under any scheme like Lohia Gram Yojana, Ambedkar Gram Yojana, etc.;

(c) whether there is any scheme for overall development of those Scheduled Castes dominated new villages which have not been selected under any scheme; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a): As per the extant guidelines of Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAGY) villages having >50% SC population with a total population = 500 are eligible for selection in descending order of their SC population.
