(a) to (f): A proposal for teaching of optional foreign languages such as Spanish, Mandarin and French in the Kendriya Vidyalayas was considered by the Board of Governors (BoG) of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) at its 103rd meeting held on 30th October 2015 in view of the large population of the world speaking these foreign languages and job opportunities for the students.
