(a) whether the Government has received any proposal/proposals from other states to build statues like Statue of Unity in their respective States and if so, the details of the proposals along with the action taken by the Government thereon; and
(b) whether the Government has received any complaint regarding the construction of unregistered tourist hotels and ashram, if so, details thereof along with the action taken by the Government thereon?

(a): Ministry of Tourism has not received any proposal from State Governments to build statues like Statue of Unity in their respective States.
(b): Ministry of Tourism classifies operational hotels under its voluntary scheme of classification of hotels under various star/Heritage categories. The construction of hotels is primarily a private sector activity and complaints, if any, received in this regard are forwarded to concerned authorities.
