(a) whether the Government plans to establish Government-to-Business (G2B) Portal for convenient and efficient services to foreign and domestic investors;

(a): Yes, Madam.

(b): The Government is implementing the eBiz project under the National eGovernance Plan to set up a Government-to-Business(G2B) portal to provide various investment and business related services such as licenses and approvals, registration, filing of returns etc. to foreign and domestic investors. The salient features of the project include convenient and easy access to information and services, establishment of a single platform for integrating the services provided by Central, State and local governments to investors and businesses and servicing the requirements of business throughout the entire life-cycle.

(c) & (d): The project will be implemented in phases over 10 years with the first 3 years as pilot phase and the next 7 years as expansion phase. The project is currently being implemented in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. Requests from other states including Odisha for inclusion in the project will be considered on the basis of experience gained during the pilot phase.
