Will the Minister of LAW AND JUSTICE be pleased to state:
(a) Whether the Government proposes to bring the Women’s Representation Bill for providing 33 per cent reservation for women in Parliament and State Legislatures;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (c): Gender justice is an important commitment of the Government. The issue involved needs careful consideration on the basis of the consensus among all political parties before a Bill for amendment in the Constitution is brought before Parliament.
