Answer given by the minister

(a) & (b): At the time of upgradation / renovation of Type II Quarters at Aram Bagh, Kalibari and other government colonies, wherever required Polytetra Methylene Terephthalate (PTMT) taps were provided. Steel taps were not installed. During maintenance, replacement of taps in Type II quarters is done with PTMT taps. Central Public Works Department (CPWD) does not charge anything for replacing taps.
