(a) whether the Railways have received any proposal from East Coast Railway Zone,
Bhubaneshwar regarding allotment/transfer of railway land located in central place to
Rayagada Municipality for construction of a bus stand;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the action taken by the Railways thereon?

(a) to (c): Yes, Sir. Sanction of the Ministry of Railways has been conveyed to the Railway
on 10.03.2006 for exchange of 2.38 acre of land on land-to-land equitable value basis and
long term leasing of Railway land measuring 0.56 acre at Rayagada in favour of Rayagada
Municipality for construction of civil bus stand.
